This article was made for the bikers and has a passion in using
motorbikes. We will be posting the TOP 10 List of Most Expensive Bikes,
it's quite sad to other people that love motorbikes but cant afford to
buy one of this. Before anything else, Here are the TOP 10 List Of Most
Expensive Bikes.
We will apologize because some of the bikes have no description .
TOP 10 - ICON SHEENE - $172,000 -
TOP 9 - MTT TURBINE STREETHFIGHTER - $175,000
-The
MTT Turbine Superbike, also known as the Y2K Turbine Superbike, is a
wheel-driven motorcycle powered by a turboshaft engine, created by Ted
McIntyre of Marine Turbine Technologies. The bike is powered by a
Rolls-Royce-Allison Model 250 producing 320 hp (240 kW) at 52,000 rpm.Unlike
some earlier jet-powered motorcycles, where a massive jet engine
provided thrust to push the motorcycle, the turboshaft engine on this
model drives the rear wheel via a two-speed gearbox. The engines used in
the motorcycles are second-hand, having reached the FAA-mandated running
time limit, after which they have to be rebuilt, regardless of
condition.
TOP 8 - SUZUKI AEM CARBON FIBER HAYABUSA -$200,000
-AEM Carbon Fiber Hayabusa is built by Suzuki and made
fully using nothing but carbon fiber, the Suzuki Hayabusa is created by
MV’s director, Claudio Castiglioni, and has its engine management
system done by AEM. Cost for the AEM Carbon Fiber Hayabusa bike is made
to meet the strategic marketing needs starts from $160,000 and goes up
to $200,000. The top speed of the bike is rated at 300 kms/hr.
TOP 7 - DUCATI TESTA STRETTA NCR MACCHIA NERA CONCEPT-
$225,000
TOP 6 - DUCATI DESMOSEDICI D16RR NCR M16- $232,500
TOP 5 - ECOSSE TITANIUM SERIES Fe Ti XX - $300,000
-The
Ecosse Titanium Series FE Ti XX will run you an astonishing $300,000,
making it the most expensive bike you can purchase legally. One of the
first units produced was shipped to China without fluids, as the
purchaser wished to display the bike in his home as a trophy. If you so
choose, though, that price tag can buy you much more than just an
impressive trophy.The
FE Ti XX boasts a 2409cc billet aluminum powerplant engine that can
produce up to an impressive 225 horsepower as well as over 200 ft-lbs of
torque. Its pipes are made of Grade 9 titanium, it has a hydraulic
clutch and an exposed carbon belt drive, its wheels and bodywork are
composed of carbon fiber and it boasts a motogp Ohlins suspension.
TOP 4 - YAMAHA ROADSTAR BMS CHOPPER - $500,000
- All
that remains of the original bike is the 1700cc engine, the part of the
frame that has the engine mounts, and the neck of the frame since that
part includes the VIN number as Nehme wanted to keep this bike titled as
a Yamaha Road Star.* The build cost US$250,000 in labour alone to
handcraft the machine from the ground up, excluding the cost of parts,
paint and gold plating.Extensive
design work and testing went into the single-sided front "fork," whose
main spar is more than a metre long and machined from aluminium billet.
Fully functional, it incorporates an air-ride system that, along with
the single-sided swing-arm rear suspension, can lift the motorcycle 25
centimetres or lower it right onto the ground. In fact, a side stand is
unnecessary as Nehme-sis softly lands on its frame rails when it's time
to park.
TOP 3 - DODGE TOMAHAWK V10 SUPERBIKE - $555,000
-The Dodge Tomahawk was
a non–street legal concept vehicle introduced by Dodge. Dodge's
extraordinary claims of a top speed of 420 mph (680 km/h) were derided
by experts in land speed record, and the Tomahawk never demonstrated a speed above 100 mph (160 km/h).The vehicle has two front wheels and two rear wheels, making it a kind of motorised quadricyclerather than a typical motorcycle. The pairs of wheels move independently which allows it to countersteerand lean in turns like a motorcycle.
TOP 2 - HARLEY DAVIDSON COSMIC STARSHIP - $1M
TOP 1 - ECOSSE ES1 SUPERBIKE - $ 3.6M
-Ecosse
ES1 Superbike is a dreamy piece of machine that maxes 250 mph and has a
custom tailored, state of the art carbon fiber body. Like the makers
say these customized motorcycles will be fully developed, F1-spec
machines that will be available at least one year ahead of the
production model. The bike will boast of an ergonomic fitment (like F1
driver’s seat), to advanced composite construction, to desired engine
output parameters, to electronic control systems, thus recreating F1 on
two wheels. Apparently 10 customers can expect full-factory support and
involvement for a limited time period. This support will include
everything required to properly and safely ride the ES1; comprising of
personal protective equipment, paddock equipment, spare parts, scheduled
inspection/rebuild program, training with champion road racers
